Parisian by birth, Anne was quickly drawn to the outside world but never thought about having a career abroad. She undertook law studies, which she pushed up well to the doctorate. She practiced for a few years in courtrooms until life brought her new challenges and opportunities.
Anne landed in South East Asia with French qualifications and had to reinvent the lawyer she was. She entered the industrial world as an in-house legal counsel for a service provider of the Oil & Gas industry, had to learn new codes and practices, and experienced a new jurisdiction. Few years later, she was hired by a major contractor of the energy sector and acquired the inner workings of construction.
When appointed Legal Manager and member of the managing committee of the regional entity, she became exposed to the greater world. She certainly strengthened her experience while refining her vision of the industry and its stakeholders. For more than 10 years Anne have been fighting the austere image of lawyers, demonstrating that the latter can be pragmatic while playing by the book.
